I recently moved to a small town in Colorado where the men are men, the women are women and guns are a way of life. While I’m not in total agreement with everything my new neighbors stand for, that’s okay. Being willing to let each person believe in whatever manner he wishes is why our country is a really good place to live.
This year’s Fourth of July parade was not big as parades go. My new hometown is, after all a small town. But for the first time in years I felt a surge of pride and patriotism that brought tears to my eyes. America is alive and well here in the heartland and the politicians need to pay attention. Below are some photos from the event.
