The Garden of Dr. Evermor, (Note the lack of the ‘e’ on the end of his name in case you want to Google him) is located on U. S. 12 in North Freedom, Wisconsin, about five miles south of Baraboo, Wisconsin. It is the brainchild of Tom Every, AKA Dr. Evermor. In with the amazing output of scrap metal sculptures, you’ll find the “Forevertron,” that is, according to every piece of information I’ve been able to find, “the largest scrap metal sculpture in the world.”
The sign below is hard to read after too many Wisconsin winters, but the GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS was impressed by Every’s, excuse me, Dr. Evermor’s creation.
It says that Dr. Evermor’s garden is home to the “World’s Largest Scrap Metal Sculpture.
The Discovery Channel and ROAD AMERICA were also intrigued by the science fiction-like landscape created by remnants of other devices. On the internet I found more articles than I could use. Author Tom Kupsh has written a book, A MYTHIC OBSESSION: THE WORLD OF DR. EVERMOR, available from Amazon.
